W13 - Climate Change I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. When I came into the world, snow is all I knew about. Utah is arid similar to a desert and the conditions are always unexpected. They say "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes!" It could be the winter season, but it also could be freezing rain. It wasn't until after getting married and moving to the east coast I was able to experience humidity and all that it entailed. The winter is most definitely a different level of cold being lower than 10 degrees Fahrenheit. My husband was born and raised overseas in Tonga (South Pacific islands) where the weather is in a tropical setting and the seasons were the same depending on how warm and cool it becomes. It also depended on the hurricane season.
